Bulgu is not a medical device; it does not diagnose or recommend treatment. See a doctor without delay about blood in your stool, unexplained weight loss, pain that wakes you at night, fever, or severe or new symptoms.
1. Licence
Bulgu is a mobile application developed by Mahir Uslu. You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, modify, rent or sell the app. All rights in its text, artwork and software are reserved.
On iOS the app is additionally subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (the Standard EULA).
2. Health notice
- Bulgu is a logging and observation tool. Its scores, charts and "possible trigger" cards are statistical signals from your own records, not proof or a diagnosis.
- The low-FODMAP protocol is offered as a suggestion; you make the decisions. Ideally, plan diet changes with a dietitian or doctor.
- The FODMAP tags on foods are a draft compiled from published general guidance, not yet reviewed by a dietitian, and may vary with recipe and portion.
- Nothing in the app replaces an examination or advice from a health professional.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the app for any unlawful purpose or in a way that interferes with its operation.
4. Data and backups
Bulgu requires no user account. Records are stored on your device; optional AI interpretation sends selected food and symptom records to the cloud with separate consent. Keeping a backup file and its passphrase safe is your responsibility. Because Bulgu holds no copy, it cannot recover data from a lost device, a deleted file or a backup whose passphrase is forgotten. 5. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is". It is not warranted to operate uninterrupted or error-free, or that its calculations predict any particular health outcome.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, no liability is accepted for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the app or from decisions based on information in it. In any event total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated. Changes take effect on the date they are published on this page, and the date and version at the top are updated.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer rights available to you in your country of residence are unaffected.
9. Contact
Bulgu Plus subscriptions
The basic diary, history and first protocol are free. Detailed analysis, further protocols, retests, advanced reports and period comparison require Plus. The monthly, yearly or one-time lifetime price is displayed in the store confirmation sheet. Lifetime access does not renew. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled and are managed through your Apple or Google account. Deleting the app or local records does not cancel a subscription. Restore purchases using the same store account. After Plus ends, you can read past results and finish an existing protocol. Refund requests follow the relevant store process.
